Klatch is the fastest-growing performance marketing agency in the healthcare sector, with revenue up 61% over the past year. We partner with organisations of all sizes, from individual clinics to cross-border groups spanning the UK, US and Europe, creating campaigns and websites that improve patient journeys and drive measurable growth.

Our team is based in the heart of Hove on Palmeira Square. We're a small, senior team, and we build much of our own tooling, including a call-tracking and patient-attribution platform that connects marketing activity to booked patient revenue.

As part of our growth, we're hiring a Senior SEO Manager to own the technical engine behind our SEO and AI search work.

The Role

This is a technical, hands-on role, and it is deliberately not a client-facing one. Our account managers own the client relationships, the calls and the reporting. Your job is everything behind that: the audits, the fixes, the systems and the workflows that make our SEO and AI search delivery the best in the healthcare space.

You'll set the technical standard for how Klatch does SEO across a portfolio of private healthcare clinics, build repeatable systems so that standard scales without you touching every account, and use AI properly, both as a workflow tool inside the agency and as a search channel our clients need to win in. You'll report directly to the founder.

What You'll Do

• Own technical SEO across the client portfolio: audits, crawl and indexation management, site speed and Core Web Vitals, site architecture, migrations and structured data.
• Build and run AI-assisted workflows for audits, redirect mapping, content briefs, internal linking and reporting data, using scripts, APIs and LLM tools where they genuinely save time.
• Lead our AI search work: making sure our clinics are found and recommended in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews, and owning the entity and structured data strategy that requires.
• Turn what works into systems: playbooks, SOPs and QA processes the wider team delivers against, so quality doesn't depend on who touched the account.
• Run local SEO at scale across multi-location clinics: Google Business Profiles, location pages and citations.
• Connect SEO performance to patient outcomes through Google Search Console, GA4 and our in-house attribution platform.
• Apply the same engine to Klatch's own growth: our site, our rankings and our visibility in AI search.

What you won't do

No client calls. No account management. No presenting reports. If your ideal week is heads-down technical work with the client layer handled by someone else, this is that role.

About You

We’re looking for a skilled and driven individual ready to make their mark in a fast-growing agency. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and want to play a pivotal role in our success, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a clear technical bias, agency or in-house. We care more about what you've shipped than how long you've been shipping it.
• Evidence that you've automated parts of your job before: scripts, Screaming Frog custom extractions, Apps Script, Python, Make/Zapier flows or LLM-based workflows. We don't mind which, but we'll ask to see one.
• Confident working with LLMs day to day: prompting, using APIs, and knowing where AI output still needs a human.
• Advanced WordPress: comfortable in themes, plugins, staging environments and page builders, and able to diagnose why a site is slow rather than just report that it is.
• Fluent with structured data and schema markup.
• Deep experience with Google Search Console, GA4 and a crawler like Screaming Frog or Sitebulb, plus Ahrefs or Semrush for the rest.
• Organised and self-directed. You'll be handed a function, not a task list.
• Healthcare experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
